A 52-year-old man has fallen into the hands of the Kamza police after he was caught with a gun in the apartment.
As part of the operation codenamed “Road Guard 3”, the police received information that the father of one of the detainees could have a firearm.
Services of the Police Commissariat no. 5 organized the work and exercised control in the apartment of the 52-year-old identified with the initials NB, resident in Kamza.
During the search of the apartment, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, a pistol firearm coated with grease and inserted in a leather case, four combs and 173 combat bullets.
Following the actions, the citizen NB, 52 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District, for further procedural actions.
