A 38-year-old man has been handcuffed by the Tirana police after firing a shotgun into the air.
Following the information received on the operational road that a person with a criminal record in the field of narcotics could have been shot, the Police services organized and conducted the police operation codenamed “Shooting”.
Police services approached the apartment where the person with the weapon was suspected to be hiding and called him to open the door and obey the police control.
The 38-year-old, identified by the initials FJ, did not obey the call of the Police, but closed the door and threatened to shoot at the Police officers.
After the professional intervention of the Police employees, it became possible to catch and arrest the citizen in flagrante delicto:
F, J., 38 years old, resident of “Moxart” street, Kamza, previously convicted for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”, who was caught with a gun in his hand, with a cartridge in his nest ready for shooting.
A Kalashnikov firearm, two cartridges with ammunition and 11 cartridges were seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for further action.
