A 31-year-old man was arrested this Thursday in Kukës, after he was caught transporting smuggled goods and then selling them.
The citizen with the initials EC was caught near the place called “Ura e Drinit i Zi”, transporting with a van type vehicle, various goods, smuggled from Kosovo, avoiding customs and tax duties. Investigative actions have shown that these goods would be sold online, in different cities of the country.
As material evidence, the vehicle was seized, together with the goods.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Kukës Court of First Instance, for the criminal offenses “Smuggling of other goods”, “Trade and transportation of smuggled goods” and “Concealment of income”.
