This giant teenager holds the Guinness World Record as the woman with the longest legs in the world, as her lower limbs are longer than the entire length of actor Danny DeVito.
19-year-old American Maci Currin also holds the record for the longest legs of a teenager, which has brought millions of fans on social networks.
With a total length of 2.1 meters, Maci’s legs make up 60 percent of its length, by about 135 cm. They are only 12cm shorter than American actor Danny DeVito, who is only 147cm tall.
But instead of hiding from public attention, Maci has ’embraced’ her major figure and uses social media to spread positivity messages to her body.
Maci from Texas, said she had opened her page on TikTok as a joke, but soon her videos got millions of views and she started to take the platform seriously.
“Since the video was getting a lot of views, my family encouraged me to post about my length and experiences. “Through the distribution of posts I learned to love myself more and to show that being tall is not as bad as some people say.”
But Maci acknowledges that the advantages of being tall are very limited and certainly has its challenges.
“The world was not created for taller people, it seems as if it was built only for one mass, for the ideal mass.”
“When people approach me in public, they only ask me about my height or ask to take pictures with me.”
“I have no problem answering their questions, I just do not like when they take pictures with me without asking permission.”
“Sometimes I get a lot of hatred on social media, at first it bothered me but later I realized that I should not worry about people who know nothing about me or with whom I will never meet.”
Maci says she is ‘single’ but with her desire as there are many fans who want to get to know her.
