Greek police in Thessaloniki have released the details and photos of 12 people arrested in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Alkis Kampanos in the Harilau district of Thessaloniki on February 1.
Among them are four young Albanians:
Gega Aleksandro, year of birth 2002 in Albania,
Kambo Geraldi, born in 1999 in Albania,
Demirazi Roxheri, born in 2002 in Albania,
Carciu Afksendos, born in 1999 in Thessaloniki.
This specific publication, according to the relevant order of the Prosecution, aims to protect society as a whole, juveniles, vulnerable or powerless groups of the population and to facilitate the realization of the state claim for the totality of crimes committed, said in a press release of the police .
Alkis Kampanos was killed by a group of hooligans on February 1st.
A total of 13 people, aged 20 to 25, have been identified and detained by the city police as suspected perpetrators.
As they describe how the murder happened in the approximately 80 seconds that the attack lasted, but even before they decided where you were and where they would attack, they blame each other.
The 21-year-old Greek man who allegedly carried the murder weapon, a sickle-shaped knife, declares that he did not use it and it fell out of his hand.
For this reason, the prosecutor has ordered a DNA test for all the accused, to verify the degree of their involvement in the crime. In forensic laboratories, laboratory tests continue to identify fingerprints and genetic material in deadly devices.
