“In June, the problems related to the Territorial Reform will be identified, and by the end of July, a concrete proposal will be issued on how the new territorial map of Albania should be.“, Said Enkelejd Alibeaj.
MP Ferdinant Xhaferraj said that from the meetings held with citizens, there was agreement to increase the number of municipalities in the country.
“I think the commission has a very good composition starting from the Gift that has a good articulation. We need to have some options. And in addition to the civic interest that is primary, we must certainly take into account the electoral interest. From all the meetings we have had with citizens, there is an agreement to increase the number of municipalities“, Said Xhaferraj.
Also, MP Dhurata Çupi said that so far two experts have been approved, where the first phase will be dedicated to communication with public opinion. According to her, the current territorial reform is a failure.
