Regarding the meeting with the chief diplomat of Saudi Arabia, Greek diplomatic sources say that he is part of the efforts made by Athens for closer ties and military cooperation with this country and other regional powers, including Israel and Egypt, as its relations with neighboring Turkey remain tense due to lengthy disputes over maritime borders in the Mediterranean.
