In the framework of March 7, Teacher’s Day, the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Evis Kushi made a surprise congratulatory phone call to Mrs. Lumni Shashaj, her French teacher and caretaker for years at the “Dhaskal Todri” gymnasium in Elbasan.
During the telephone conversation, Minister Kushi thanked the teacher from the bottom of her heart for her work and dedication. On the other hand, retired teacher Lumni Shashaj thanks Mrs. Kushi who remembers him among all those students he has had over the years.
Minister Kushi tells the teacher that “I would very much like to bring you a bunch of mimosas, but because of the pandemic I want to take care of your health in the first place”.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Kushi reveals an unspoken fact that he loved the French language only thanks to teacher Lumni and for the way she explained it.
Finally, Minister Evis Kushi once again expresses her gratitude to her high school teacher:
“Happy March 7th and a lot of gratitude for everything, for me, for all my classmates and for all the generations that have passed.”
