The Speaker of the Assembly of Northern Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, insulted the employees of the Assembly service with harsh words inside the Assembly Hall, based on a recording.
After the session ended on May 12, Talat Xhaferi insulted, insulted and threatened the employees, inviting them to appear in his cabinet regarding their engagement, as this was broadcast by the Assembly channel.
The cabinet of the Speaker of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi, did not comment on the case, which provoked numerous reactions.
Even the Prime Minister, Dimitar Kovacevski did not comment on the recording on the grounds that he did not see it.
“I have seen that video, but it is a conversation, in which it is not seen who is talking, nor with whom he is talking, and for this reason I can not comment if the Speaker of the Assembly is talking to someone in the hall, with an employee or not “, declared Kovacevski.
However, the opposition VMRO DPMNE called the act “scandalous and shameful” and demanded the immediate dismissal of Xhaferi from the post of Speaker of the Assembly.
“There is no justification for such simplicity and the question is whether all coalition partners in the criminal government support and will leave without condemning this primitive behavior of the despot from Forina (the village where Xhaferi lives),” said the VMRO spokesman. DPMNE, Naum Stoilkovski.
Meanwhile, the Alliance for Albanians assessed that the behavior of the Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, “reflects the low behavior of the DUI not only with its officials but with all Albanians.”
ASH says that Talat Xhaferi has manifested “dictatorial” behavior.
“For a long time now, not only Xhaferi, but also other DUI officials have been treating officials and citizens in the same way, and often try to treat MPs in the same way. This is a typical behavior of a regime, a dictatorship, which works only with fear and threats “, it is said in the reaction of the Alliance for Albanians.
The Assembly of Northern Macedonia has been blocked by VMRO DPMNE since May 11, which is using all forms to prevent the holding of sessions.
The Macedonian opposition took such an action after the rejection of the Prime Minister, Dimitar Kovacevski, on the request of VMRO DPMNE for a meeting of leaders to set the date for early parliamentary elections.
