Democratic Party Deputy Chairman Jorida Tabaku said on Saturday that the Socialist Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration had joined forces to remove Democratic Party commissioners from a CEAZ.
In her speech to the media, Tabaku stressed that with an unprecedented decision, three members of the SP, joined the vote with members of the SMI, refusing to implement the decision of the election commissioner taken yesterday, for the appointment of the DP commissioners and the decision of the Appellate Panel, taken at 02:00 in the morning.
“While we are talking in the polling stations, 22 secretaries have been appointed who belong to the DP and there is still no decision for the mayors who belong to the same DP in the other 22 polling stations. All PD representatives are in the commissions as observers but are not performing their role as chairman. I call on political entities to go beyond party and political messages, beyond those they order by phone and text message, and to implement the decision of the Election Commissioner and the decision of KAS late last night.“, Said Tabaku.
She stressed that all DP representatives are in the commissions.
“I have moved to most of the centers since 07.00 in the morning and I have noticed that as I stated the representatives of the Socialist Party with the representatives of the SMI in the commissions have refused to implement this decision. I ask all the citizens of Vora, I ask all the citizens of Marqinet, Gërdec, Marikaj, Muçaj, Fushë Preza and all the surrounding areas in the municipality of Vora to come and vote en masse for the Democratic Party“, Said the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party.
Tabaku stated, addressing the media, as you can see in the ballot paper, there is only one entity that represents the Albanian opposition and that according to her is the Democratic Party, the other entities, she adds, have united against the DP.
