Swiss officials have concluded that Russia is unlikely to use its nuclear weapons against the West, following the conflict over Moscow’s occupation of Ukraine.
At a press conference in Bern, Swiss Defense Minister Viola Amherd said that all scenarios are being seen, but the chances of these weapons being used are slim.
“We are looking at all scenarios, but our investigations show that the likelihood of these nuclear weapons being used is low.“, Said the Swiss minister.
The statement came after Switzerland approved EU sanctions against Russia.
