British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in Kiev today for his second unannounced visit to Ukraine since the start of the war.
The first visit, which was also a surprise for everyone was in April.
According to the agenda, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom would hold a conference today with a group of Conservative MPs in Doncaster, but canceled the visit to travel to Kiev.
Boris Johnson just posted a photo with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy on Twitter, writing: “President Volodymyr, it’s good to be back in Kiev”!
According to Zelensky’s press office, arms supplies were discussed between the Ukrainian president and the British prime minister to help Ukraine cope with Russian forces. The two leaders also spoke about air defense systems, economic support for Ukraine and further sanctions against Russia, writes Andriy Yermak in the Telegram messaging application.
