The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has stated today that Russia’s attacks on innocent Ukrainian civilians are living proof that Putin is committing war crimes in Ukraine.
In his statement he vowed to ‘starve’ Vladimir Putin’s war machine and added that his invasion is failing.
Johnson said no denial or misinformation from the Kremlin can hide what we all know to be true. Putin is desperate and his invasion is failing, while Ukraine has never been more determined than now to defend itself.
“The United Kingdom has been at the forefront of supporting the International Criminal Court’s investigation into the atrocities committed in Ukraine. “The secretary of justice has authorized additional financial support and the deployment of specialist investigators. We will not be calm until justice is done.”
