NASA’s Rover Perseverance landed on Mars on February 18 after nearly seven months of travel from Earth.
Since then, he has sent some amazing images from his location, Jezero Crater, north of the Red Planet equator.
In the photo gallery, published by the BBC is a selection of photos sent by the mission, as the device searches for signs of past microbial life, and aims to find out more about the planet’s geology and past climate on Mars.
