Two serious accidental events occurred as a result of the wind storm in Kuçova this Thursday, where a 26-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were injured.
The two young men are in the Berat Regional Hospital in serious condition.
A 26-year-old boy, who was working on assembling a solar panel in a relative’s house, has fallen from the house slat from the strong wind. The fall from a height of about three meters caused the young man from the village of Tapi in the district of Kuçova fractures and collapse all over his body.
Michael Vrapi was found unconscious on the ground and was transported to the Berat Regional Hospital. He is currently in the operating room of the Surgery Department, while doctors state that his condition is serious.
Another serious incident occurred near the Kuçova Hospital. As a result of the strong storm, a water tank was detached from the roof and fell on a 17-year-old girl, who was crossing the street.
The girl, with the initials SK, was picked up by passers-by and taken to hospital. The 17-year-old is also in the Berat Regional Hospital, where she is being examined by doctors. She is out of danger for life, though with numerous fractures and wounds.
