The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, asked the opposition MPs to bring concrete proposals on how to fight crime and corruption in the country.
Spiropali responded to the accusations of the Democratic deputies in today’s plenary session, that Albania is the most corrupt country in the Balkans and that criminals act freely, saying that “by making concrete proposals”.
“Talk about crime and crimes all day but here no proposal. Why don’t you tell them here? “We are taking a step forward in the fight against money laundering and corruption.”.
The Minister spoke about the lack of ethics, which according to her characterizes the Democratic Party, starting from the leader of the Democrats Lulzim Basha and all other deputies.
“No Albanian who knows the history of your battles with us, without any code of ethics. It is better to change languages. Change tools and maybe you have a chance“, Said Spiropali.
Spiropali also responded to Basha’s accusations that the majority is obstructing the work of investigative commissions.
“It was confirmed that he is the chairman of the Democratic Party, through a court certificate, congratulations, he repeats the same speeches, but changes the paragraphs, I remind the chairman with the stamp that remains on the stamp, Basha to clarify his position within the party in relation to Albanians and more after he demanded an account in the Assembly, we asked for the investigation commission to be set up, you had internal affairs, the April 25 elections were not an election massacre, but it was your next loss, the sooner you accept it the sooner you will change “, said the deputy.
