In Spain 23 new cases of smallpox have been reported, mainly in the Madrid region, where most of the new cases of infection are related to the spread to saunas.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), monkey pox has been reported in at least eight European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Outside countries where monkey pox is known to be endemic, similar recent cases have been reported in Australia, Canada and the United States.
Monkey pox is a rare viral infection, which can be spread from person to person and is caused by the monkey pox virus.
Since 1970, cases of aphids have been reported in 11 African countries. Nigeria has had a major epidemic since 2017, while so far there have been 46 suspicious cases this year, 15 of which have been confirmed in the meantime, according to WHO data.
