Veliaj said that the Socialist Party is open to anyone who wants to join a big family.

In the end, the mayor said that the difference between the opponents and the Socialist Party is that no one is interested in whether Saliu, Luli, a man or a woman will come.

“We are not the party that spins the tires in the last month before the elections. We are not the party that roams around like a headless mob and intimidates people on the streets on election day. We are people who say to do things at the right time, to take things in turn, to use the summer to prepare as a team, just like football teams do. In another party, no one cares whether Saliu or Luli will come. There is only interest in who will burn down the headquarters, who will come with sledgehammers, who will come with hammers, who will come with teargas and tear gas. They have no interest in fixing your houses. Anyone interested in what will happen on July 25? The woman will leave, she will give the keys to the door to the man and he will become the party leader.
