20 councilors voted in favor of Arif voting for mayor of Presevo.
The former chairwoman of the Party for Democratic Action was fired with the same number of votes on Monday.
Ardita Sinani was elected mayor of Presevo in May 2021 following a coalition agreement between the PVD, DPA and LR.
