The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, considered a terrorist attack the attack recorded at the weekend against members of the Kosovo Police in the north. While urging law enforcement agencies to investigate the case, Kurti said there would be no tolerance by the Government for Serbia’s illegal structures in Kosovo.
“It is the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Kosovo Police that make the analysis, studies of the causes and circumstances of these attacks on our police members. “We have strongly condemned this attack, which was a terrorist attack because the members of the police were shot with bullets and grenades, who were lucky that their vehicles suffered only material damage”, said Kurti.
He said that the April 15 attack, when according to law enforcement authorities in Kosovo, police officers were attacked as he was leaving to take up duty at the border crossings with Serbia, was intended to kill police officers.
“With the illegal structures of Serbia, with organized crime, there will never be any gram of tolerance from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the state of Kosovo, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Kosovo Police,” said Kurti.
