For three days, the area of Shijak and Maminas has been facing a lack of drinking water due to the works being carried out for the new main water supply network.
The works are at a very important point as the final connection and testing of the line is currently being carried out.
Due to the works in this phase of 48 hours, the pump station in Fushë Krujë has been turned off.
“The new line is expected to be put into operation this evening and then it will continue to be supplied with water normally. This investment is expected to significantly improve the drinking water supply time for the citizens of Shijak,” according to Durrës Water and Sewerage.
