The doctor explains that only the mother was injured, while the baby has no injuries, as the mother protected him during the fall.
The woman is the mother of 6 children and it is known that she suffered from mental health problems. She wanted to leave the hospital but the doctors did not allow her as there is no apartment where she can house the baby.
The managers of the hospital sent a request to the social office of the municipality of Saranda, where they ask that the woman and the baby be provided with accommodation.
