An incident starring PD MP Ervin Salianjin was recorded on Monday afternoon shortly before the resumption of the protest called by the former Democratic leader, Sali Berisha.
As soon as Salianji arrived at the headquarters, Mr. Berisha’s supporters became angry and issued calls against him, until he entered the PD headquarters.
Calls have also been issued against the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, and in favor of Berisha.
Hundreds of protesters had gathered in the courtyard of the PD headquarters this Monday, while the shouts “o Sali o hero, all Albania loves you” seemed to be the main reference of those moments.
At one point in the Party headquarters the lights were turned off and this was interpreted as a provocation to the Democrats, who started shouting “Rama ik, Basha ik”.
Meanwhile, the member of the Re-establishment Commission, Flamur Noka and Tritan Shehu, arrived at the PD headquarters. Noka has called on the protesting citizens to address the square in front of the Prime Minister, while the crowd is led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
After a few moments, the protest called by the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha against the meeting of the “Open Balkans” is expected to start.
