Police in California have released a video showing two robbers hitting a woman with a car and then coming out to take the watch from her hand.
The images show the woman running through the streets out of control, on April 11 in Los Angeles.
She desperately tries to signal a white SUV on the road in one direction, as they are chased by a silver Dodge Challenger. But the SUV avoids the woman and leaves while behind him comes the Dodge of robbers who crashes her.
A member of the public appears to be trying to help the woman, but is repulsed when the two robbers get out of the car and go to get something on the ground.
After they leave the volunteer returns to the victim of the accident, who fortunately had received only minor injuries, police announced in a press release.
Shock crime is part of a series of robberies in the city of Los Angeles where robbers often target victims in isolated areas or outside their homes.
The incident in the scene occurred in the area of the jewelry stores while the victim was visiting one of them. She was chased by the robbers car and then initially attacked by one of the robbers who had come out of the Dodge.
But the cruel robbers pursued their prey until they managed to steal what they intended from it.
