Russian troops opened fire on buses carrying civilians today in the northeastern Ukrainian village of Borovaya, where seven people were reported killed and 27 others were injured.
Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office spokesman Dmytro Chubenko said Ukrainian officials were still trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack, which took place in the last hours.
It is learned that the buses were transporting civilians through the territory controlled by Russia at that time.
Chubenko said Ukraine had opened criminal proceedings in connection with the incident, accusing Ukrainian troops of suspected of violating the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
