A new variant of the coronavirus, called Omicron, has also reached Serbia.
Omicroni was confirmed to a person from Botswana, who entered Serbia with a negative PCR test.
Control tests confirmed the person was positive for the Omicron type, reports b92.
Prior to registering in Serbia, Omicron was also registered in neighboring Croatia, Montenegro and Romania.
