The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, has expressed his condolences for the untimely death of the President of the European Parliament, Davide Sassoli, at the age of 65.
Through a post on the social network “Facebook”, Balla declares that the United Europe has lost today a great fighter of its unifying causes and solidarity.
According to Balla, before being elected President, David Sassoli headed the Group of Friends of Albania during the last legislature.
“We have cooperated over the years with this great friend for the benefit of supporting Albania’s European path. Most heartfelt condolences to the Sassoli family. Rest in peace President Sassoli“, Writes Balla.
