The administration of US President Joe Biden has leaked secret documents and some historians and conspiracy theorists believe this may shed new light on the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, CNN reports.
But the fact that over 1500 documents have been published does not mean that all of them have been published. A large number of documents are still inaccessible and partially censored, so the lifelong debate between federal authorities and the people investigating Kennedy’s assassination will continue.
Long-term scholars of this historic event say that the published documents most likely do not include those that could provide some key new evidence and change the facts that the public knows about this event, as well as the circumstances before and after the assassination.
In October, Biden postponed the release of documents to protect things important to the United States, he explained. He then set two deadlines for publication, today and December 15, 2022, when the new documents are expected to be published.
