A 50-year-old has lost contact with his family since Sunday.
It is suspected that the citizen may have drowned in the waters of the Drini, after the residents saw him for the last time by the river, fishing.
They say that they saw him in Fushë Çidhën, in the area called “Kepi i Dîkê”.
police announced the night before that he sent the rescue team later, but the search was stopped due to darkness: “The services of the Dibër Police Commissariat and the ‘Eagle’ forces immediately went to the scene. Currently the search has been interrupted due to darkness and will resume again in the early hours of the morning”.
But, according to area residents, the search team does not have a bulletproof vest or even a flashlight. The relatives demand the mobilization of the specialists, with the necessary means to find the missing citizen from 17:00 on Sunday.
