Kosovo Deputy Minister Edona Maloku-Bërdyna has called on parents to vaccinate their children.
Two weeks ago they had formed long queues in the corridor.
Many students of the “Xhevdet Doda” school were waiting to receive the vaccine against COVID-19, but the same interest is not in other schools, according to the Telegraph.
Friday was the last day when the school “Shtjefën Gjeçovi” had set a deadline for parents to give a statement of consent for vaccination.
And out of 1000 students in this school, only six of their parents have agreed to immunize their children.
The director of the school, Blerim Gërvalla told T7 that he held a meeting with the Parents’ Council.
Here it was confirmed that the same are reluctant to vaccinate children.
In addition, he points out that there are about 100 students who have been previously immunized in vaccination centers.
Low interest in vaccination through mobile teams is also observed in other schools.
During the last week, in the medical school “Ali Sokoli”, only 30 students were vaccinated.
That there is reluctance to vaccinate students, confirmed by other municipalities.
