German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected to meet in Kiev with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in a bid to resolve the crisis diplomatically.

Zelenskiy’s office said the Ukrainian president had invited Biden to visit Kiev “in the coming days”.
“I am convinced that your visit to Kiev in the coming days të would be a strong signal and would help stabilize the situation,” Zelenskiy was quoted as saying, according to a statement issued by his office.
