Labinot Gruda, an official of the Ministry of Finance, has pleaded guilty to the scandal of stealing 2.1 million euros from the State Treasury.
He has admitted all the points for which he is accused in Friday’s session before the Basic Court of Prishtina.
The trial panel will not make a decision until the statement of the other accused Kadri Shala.
Gruda is accused of committing the criminal offense of abuse of official duty with the help of Shala who, as the owner of the company LDA group LLC, distributes the money received from the state treasury to other companies.
The theft of 2.1 million euros from the State Treasury took place in October 2020.
