The United States on Wednesday announced sanctions against eight individuals and entities in North Korea and Russia for their support of North Korea’s ballistic missile programs, and the latter conducted a series of tests with them last week.
“Sanctions are part of the United States’ ongoing efforts to counter North Korea’s weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs,” said Undersecretary Brian E. Nelson in a statement.
