Russia claims Ukrainian helicopters entered its airspace at 5 a.m. and struck an oil depot in Belgorod.
A Russian fuel depot was hit by Ukrainian helicopters in the early hours of this Friday morning.
In the final minutes, the Russian defense ministry claimed that two MI-24 helicopters entered its airspace at 5 a.m. before launching the attack.
Ukraine said it did not confirm or deny the allegations.
It is learned that the flames in the oil depot are continuing, while firefighters are working to extinguish the fire. The depot is just across the border from Ukraine’s second city, Kharkiv.
