Russia announced the sanctioning of 154 members of the British Parliament in response to a similar decision taken against Russian diplomats and lawmakers over the unprovoked Russian occupation of Ukraine.

Last month, Russia barred 287 British lawmakers from entering in response to British sanctions. The British Parliament has close to 800 members.
