Russia’s Defense Ministry has announced that humanitarian corridors have been opened to allow the evacuation of civilians in Ukraine.
According to her, corridors have been opened in the cities of Cherhihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Mariupol and the capital of Kiev.
The Russians for the fourth day promise the safe opening of humanitarian corridors, however the past 3 times have failed in the process of evacuating civilians.
Earlier, the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine said that only Mariupol and Sumy have evacuation routes leading to other parts of Ukraine. While Russia has hinted some new humanitarian corridors for Ukrainian civilians lead to Russia or Belarus.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian president called Russia’s move “immoral” and said Ukrainian citizens should be allowed to leave their homes through Ukrainian territory.
