American Andrew Kinsel says he will stay in Ukraine for as long as necessary as he believes there is a “bluff” from the Russian side.
He said he does not prefer to disturb the lives of children by removing them from school. Kinsel has lived in Ukraine since 1992, is married and has two daughters, aged 10 and 11, and owns his own house near Kiev.
“We will stay here. I believe that there are some negotiations that are taking place and that there is a bluff from the Russian side. “My children go to school here and I have clients I work with, but if we see that the situation becomes dangerous we will leave,” Kinesl said.
Kinsel adds that he is certainly worried about the arrival of Russian troops at the border, but added he will wait in Ukraine.
“Putin is the only one who can make the decision now, but we have no problems here at the moment. There is no queue to buy fuel or groceries in stores. “Life goes on and we hope that soon there will be a solution and the situation will be tense,” said the American.
