Russian state-owned energy giant Gazprom has confirmed that it has completely cut off gas supplies to GasTerra BV (Netherlands) due to non-payment in rubles.
The company said it had not received payment in rubles for gas supplies until the end of the working day on Monday.
On May 30, GasTerra said it expected supplies to be cut off after refusing to pay in rubles. He said he was buying gas from other sources to cover the loss.
