Russia has decided to respond in the same way to US sanctions.
The Kremlin on Tuesday announced sanctions against US President Joe Biden, his son, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, other US officials and individuals associated with them, and barred them from entering Russia.

Russia’s move comes after the US expanded its list of Russian officials to whom sanctions are imposed. The US Secretary of State said that 11 Russian officials, mainly military officials, were sanctioned for helping to suppress protests in Russia and the occupation of Ukraine.
