“Kujtim Gjonaj was and will remain one of the artistic prides of Tepelena and all of Albania. Screenwriter, director, producer, publisher, The Grand Master, encyclopedist Kujtim Gjonaj, was among the most professional chroniclers and documentarians of Albanian life and world.
For about half a century, he created, documented, directed, produced and published documentary and artistic works that have entered the cultural treasury and have become part of the collective, artistic and historical memory of Albanians. “With his original creativity, Gjonaj raised in art and conveyed to us, Albanians, but also world culture, the details and episodes of life, its history and figures, culture, aspirations, experiences and dreams of Albanians”, writes in his message Speaker of the Assembly, Gramoz Ruçi.
