The voting process for the election of the chairman of the branch of the Democratic Party in Fier has been closed. In the race for chairman of the PD branch there were 2 candidates and with 452 votes Rrapi Gjika was declared the winner while Vladimir Kajolli received 344 votes while 8 votes were invalid.
A total of 804 members of the Democratic Party voted.
The process started at 09.00 and closed at 18:00
The new chairman of the branch was elected on the principle of one member one vote, the first time such a thing is applied for the election of the head of this political force.
The voting process was administered by two commissions, 4 secret rooms and a ballot box were placed at the disposal of the voters.
