Authorities say some areas of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, continue to be the target of rocket attacks and bombings. Even this morning there were attacks by Russian forces as firefighters are trying to extinguish the flames in the buildings involved in the fire.
“As a result of the enemy missile strike, the administrative buildings collapsed from the fires,” said the regional emergency services.
At least 4 people were killed and 9 others were injured, while 10 were rescued from the rubble.
The war between Russia and Ukraine has arrived on its seventh day, already overcoming a new phase. The second meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations is expected to take place today in order to have negotiations to end the war. The first meeting since the beginning of the Russian occupation of Ukraine was held on Monday. The first round of talks took place on the Belarusian border, which lasted about 5 hours, but did not bring any change to the situation in Ukraine.
