Today, Sali Berisha has made the coalition with the Socialist Movement for Integration a fact for the March 6 elections.
The coalition is called the “House of Freedom”, while other parties are expected to join this coalition.
This was confirmed in Top Talk by the member of the PD Re-establishment Group, Arben Ristani, who said that talks are still ongoing with other parties.
Ristani: The primaries were made to leave the race free, we did not make proposals they came out of the membership, those who won were the most prominent among the others. The process was very open.
Ristani further spoke about the non-recognition by the court of the statute of this group: The law stipulates that the matter should be resolved in 30 days, but the courts seized by the regime have created obstacles, so we said that the headquarters and the logo of the DP are confiscated by the regime, so the case is not reviewed in court, so we entered the election with this coalition.
It has been agreed but the number of parties that will be in this coalition has not been closed yet. The SMI will be in this coalition. The re-establishment commission with the SMI and some other parties, but have not been closed yet that the law has a definition in relation to the number of deputies that the parties have in parliament. We now have the name of the coalition which is the ‘house of freedom’, but has not yet been registered.
