The Rinas Border Police have handcuffed a citizen declared internationally wanted by the Dutch law enforcement authorities.
Rinas Border Police Services, as a result of increased control to verify the documentation of citizens entering and exiting, in order to apprehend wanted persons, thanks to the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, detained the citizen MA, 22 years old, resident in Belgium.
This citizen was apprehended at the entrance of the Republic of Albania and was arrested for the purpose of extradition, because during the processing of documentation and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, it turned out that he was a person declared internationally wanted by the Netherlands, for the criminal offenses “Murder in qualifying circumstances” , “Violent theft”, “Money laundering” and “Destruction of property”, provided by the Criminal Code of the Netherlands.
The internationally wanted person was taken to the detention facilities of the Tirana DVP, at the disposal of the Tirana Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office.
