The customs measures imposed by the Government of Kosovo on all Albanian citizens entering the Republic of Kosovo continue to be present at the Morinws customs.
According to the sources of the Kosovo Border Police, it is learned that during the last 24 hours no citizen has returned, as all those who cross the Albanian-Kosovo border are with two doses of vaccine and PCR test. While citizens who have crossed the Morinë-Vërmicë border since January 22 are about six thousand.
Dozens of residents of Kukës and surrounding areas protested against this decision, which is not at all fair for them and the whole region of Kukës, where it seems that their protest has fallen on deaf ears.
Also in relation to this situation during the last 24 hours have reacted the mayor, the mayor and district deputies from both political forces.
Their reactions demand that the Kosovo government review this decision and release Albanian citizens and especially residents of the Kukes region.
According to the decision of the Kurti government, these measures are apparently expected to be in force until February 4, the day in which the Kosovar side holds its next meeting to review the new anticovid measures.
