The Anti-Terror Directorate of the State Police, in cooperation with the American partners in Syria, was able to remove 13 Albanian citizens from the Al Hol camp.
Interior Ministry sources told Top Channel that the three repatriated women are Almira K. Stela S. and Etleva S.
Top Channel has the full identities of repatriated children but only publishes their initials on ethical issues.
Among the 10 children identified in the Roj camp evacuated from there and who are already in a reception center in Durrës are three orphaned children who had lost their parents during the fighting in Syria.
They are AK, UK and HK
While the other seven children of different ages are F. M, MK, HS, AZ, HZAMOG
This was the fourth operation Albania is undertaking to remove the remaining Albanian children and women from the hell camps.
The first three operations by the Anti-Terror Directorate have served to identify Albanian citizens in these camps but the immediate repatriation of all is impossible.
It is the Kurdish local authorities who give the green light to the number of women and children who have to leave the camp.
Despite the experience in the first three operations, sources aware of this operation on condition of anonymity told Top Channel that the degree of difficulty was great.
Alban Dautaj, director of the Albanian counter-terrorism, together with officers Indrit Doda and Gert Brovina, stayed for more than a week controlling a high-risk area such as the Al Hol camp, which has a population of more than 60,000 people and where the security situation is out of control.
From this camp after the search in what is known as the foreigners section was found one of the 10 children who were repatriated.
Three women and 9 other children were identified to be repatriated from Camp Roj and another camp.
It is believed that 20 Albanian women and children remain in the Syrian camps and are expected to be repatriated in the future.
