Three senior officials of the Reçi Prison in Shkodra have been suspended from duty this Wednesday for falsifying a report of a physical conflict inside the prison.
They are the director, Maliq Meta, the police chief, Robert Bundo, and the regime specialist, Gëzim Qoshku.
According to an announcement of the Internal Control Service of the Prison System, the order for the execution of the suspension decision was given by the Shkodra Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office, after the investigation confirmed that the officials falsified the reports to facilitate the convicted perpetrators of a quarrel.
“On July 20, 2021, around 10:25 in the airing premises in the IECD, the convicts “E.Ç.”, “FG” and “PN”, raped and punched the accomplice “EZ”.
Police Officer Deputy Commissioner G. Q compiled the event service report for the perpetrators. Then, by order of the director and the Chief of Police, he drafted a second report and carried out the forgery of the signatures of the police officers “GQ” and “EZ”.
