After the denunciation, the show Fiks Fare proved the bribery with voice and image, inside the state offices. Bailiff Laureta Kusi even left a meeting with the citizen one Sunday. She went with him to the office, and after taking the bribe, gave him a letter that had no more obligations. “With this letter you have no problem. “The case has been amnestied,” she told him, as she took the bribe.
Following the broadcast, the General Directorate of Bailiffs reacted by suspending and criminalizing the bailiff. “Immediately upon becoming aware of the transmission of the investigation conducted and considering it, the concrete action identified in the show, taking bribes, as a violation of a criminal nature, on 13.01.2022, decided to suspend Mrs. Laureta Kusi ”is said in the reaction of the Bailiff for Fiks Fare. According to her, on the same date, the practice of the debtor Gëzim Gjeta and the copy of the documentation of the personal file of the bailiff were made available to the Tirana Police.
In parallel with these measures, according to a letter, the General Directorate of Bailiffs has ordered the exercise of control to verify the issue, at the Bailiff’s Office, Tirana. It is also proposed to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the bailiff and procedures for dismissal have begun. According to a document dated 18 January 2022, the General Directorate of Bailiff has ordered the exercise of control over the procedural and administrative activity in the Bailiff’s Office in Tirana. The object of control is the control over the procedures followed by the bailiffs in the execution of executive titles, the same application of the law, issues with special problems, identification of violations, as well as taking concrete measures against the bailiffs.
