Rayan, the 5-year-old child who fell into a well four days ago in Morocco, dies. He died just moments after coming out of the well.
The minor stood at a depth of 32 meters, while the well was only 25 centimeters wide.
Hundreds of people waited at the entrance of the well for days waiting for what would happen to the little one. While an ambulance urgently accompanied the 5-year-old to the hospital.
The child was kept alive by an oxygen tube thrown from above by rescue forces as well as another tube that sent him water.
The operation to extract it was very complex as it risked collapsing everything and the child slipping even lower as the depth of the well was 60 meters. Rescue forces managed to open another tunnel parallel to where rayan was and from there they pulled the baby out.
The well was located just a few meters from the house of the 5 year old who while playing fell inside. The news of Rayan’s release resonated in all the international media that followed the story with great tragic end.
