Rama: We have received final confirmation from DASH that the US and Albania will be co-hosts in the UN regarding the issue of Ukraine, it is indisputably a new and very big responsibility but also a confirmation of a completely different Albania in the international region, which is considered character, resilience, ability in the role that belongs to it, as a country that promotes peace, security, is a country with an increasingly prominent position in the region.
Albania’s membership in the Security Council as a non-permanent member and the dimension that this fact gives to our relations with the USA, is enriched with this new fact.
The creation of this couple in the Security Council to be co-host is undertaken to guarantee an active and continuous engagement, confirms an unequivocal position of our country and being active in such an acute issue, as that of Ukraine but also ready for concrete work in the arena of international relations, we define and more clearly in the eyes of all, a force that contributes to the best of the best. We are excited by this development, that it is the crowning achievement of an endeavor and not the end.
